Torra Gear started with a group of friends who are slightly obsessive about outdoor kit. We spend a lot of time wild camping, hiking and getting out into the hills, and like most people who get deep into the outdoors, we were constantly researching, comparing and testing gear.

Premium equipment absolutely has its place, and some products genuinely justify the price. But we also realised there is a huge amount of affordable kit out there that performs incredibly well and does 90% of the job for a fraction of the cost - if you know where to look.

That became the idea behind Torra Gear.

We wanted to create a curated collection of affordable outdoor equipment chosen by people who actually use it. Not thousands of random products, not gimmicky “survival” gear, and not inflated pricing built around branding alone.

Everything we stock is selected with the same mindset we use when choosing our own gear - balancing weight, practicality, reliability and value for money.
